Several people are injured in explosions on the Underground network and a double decker bus in London.

6 explosions, 5 on the tube and 1 on a bus. 2 deaths at Aldgate so far but hospitals expect more. Shocking news.
Makes you wonder who is behind it and the fact it coincided with the start of the G8 summit.
It's chaos here at the moment. Sirens, police helicopters etc, and all public transport shut down. I heard the explosion in Tavistock Square. All very nasty.

This sort of thing really brings you down to earth with a bump. Its been a busy week in the UK with events, concerts, olympics etc and this happens. Gld you are okay Buttz, I'd stay well indoors today. I've always hated travelling in London and I have recently taken a job which means I may be down there quite often. Hope whoever is responsible for all this is brought to justice soon.

i managed to get into work at baker street at some ridiculous time, but kinda wished id stayed at home so i could check out the footage on tv. it's pretty much chaos. I'm lucky i got up late with a hangover!
